Do you miss it?

Don’t you miss it? You know, when you were just a little kid and you believed in the fantasy of what your world could be. For girls, there was the white dress with Prince Charming carrying off to the castle on the hill to live happily ever after. For guys, it was to be a hero that could leap tall buildings in single bound while being faster then a speeding bullet. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes,and have complete and utter faith that all your dreams would come true. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and your Prince Charming or Cinderella were so close to you that you could taste them; But eventually you grow up one day to only open your eyes and realize of the fairy tales have disappeared. Most people begin to turn to the things that they can trust and see for their own eyes. But the thing is, it’s hard to let go of a fairy tale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.
